Safety Tips

Residents are encouraged to take measure to secure their homes. Here are some steps you can take.

1. Security Screens - Considering adding a Stainless Steel Security Screen to the front and back doors, or swapping out your Diamond Grille Screen Doors for Stainless Steel. You may not know this but Diamond Grille is considered only a barrier screen as it can easily be held on to by perpetrators and pulled out of its fixings. View a Security Screen Installer in our Local Business Directory.

2. Security Cameras - Consider installing security cameras at main points of entry to your home or installing camera door bells at your front door. Ensure compliance with local privacy laws and regulations when installing a surveillance camera system

3. Door Screws - Upgrade the screws in your exterior door hinges and stike plates. Oftentimes the screws that builders use are short and weak which won't resist being kicked in by a would be burglar or home invader. We recommend a quick DIY to replace them to 75mm to ensure securing to the jambs and studs for added stability.
